We are actively recruiting Aviation Maintenance (Avionics) developers and instructors with experience in:
- B737 Avionics Systems
- Instruction and Courseware Development
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver all E-7 Aircraft Avionics Maintenance instructor training for ongoing sustainment activities, including train-the-trainer coaching and mentoring for emerging E-7 fleet support.
- Analyze lesson frameworks and design maintenance training solutions to meet Boeing Defence Australia's E-7 Aircraft capability requirements. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
- Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) support for developing essential E-7 Aircraft courseware compliant with Boeing Defence Australia and DASR regulations, covering Maintenance, Pilot, and Mission Crew training materials.
- Lead continuous improvement of E-7 Aircraft courseware, develop and pilot new courses using innovative processes and technology, collaborating closely with E-7 platform stakeholders.
Requirements:
Essential:
- Certificate IV in Aeroskills Avionics (MEA40618) or equivalent qualification
- Experience B737, AME, LAME or MAML holder
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Avionics Aircraft Maintenance
- Ability to hold Security clearance Negative Vetting Level 1 (NVET1)
- Experience with DASR Part 66 and Part 147 compliance activities
Desirable:
- Previous instructor experience is preferred but not essential; BDA will support the right candidate to obtain this qualification.
- Diploma in Training Design and Development (TAE 50122) or equivalent
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE 40122) or equivalent
- Security clearance Negative Vetting Level 1 (NVET1)
- Experience with E-7 Wedgetail or B737NG holding a B2 MAML or equivalent
