Our Team provides managed services and proactive and reactive support to our global customers. We utilize tools, process and knowledge to integrate and maintain Akamai security, media, and performance solutions for our clients. We collaborate to solve problems, provide creative solutions and work to continuously improve for our customers and our team.

Become a trusted advisor

As the trusted advisor to customers, you would be managing customer engagement and building technical solutions. You'll be project managing, problem-solving and building close relationships with customers across many industries.

As a Technical Project Manager II, you will be responsible for:

  • Technical-consulting to evaluate customer's architecture, gather requirements and to propose appropriate Akamai solutions to service customer requirements
  • Managing scope, timelines, and budget of integrations to reduce risk and ensure customer success
  • Advocating best practices for the customer and internal teams during product design, development and implementation
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Support, Engineering, Products, Presales and Sales to resolve technical & business issues
  • Identifying service enhancements and potential problems proactively to ensure continuous improvements to quality of customer service delivery

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have over 5 years' of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Have deep understanding of internet technologies and cloud architectures
  • Have experience in a customer facing role where an aptitude for improving customer satisfaction was successfully demonstrated.
  • Have past experience of managing and delivering technical customer projects successfully
  • Have a natural ability to engage, influence and build trusted relationships with customers
  • Have ability to collaborate, prioritize, and solve problems in a fast changing environment
