We’re seeking a Library Software Solution Consultant to help public libraries modernise their operations and enhance patron experiences with our Polaris Library Management System (LMS) and Vega Library Experience suite from Innovative, part of Clarivate.  

This role combines library expertise with technical knowledge to accelerate sales opportunities and build strong client relationships. 

About you – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in related field
  • 5+ Years of Relevant Experience
  • Public Library librarian or industry expert with deep experience in public libraries. 
  • Strong understanding of library operations and challenges. 
  • Ability to explain technical features in practical, value-driven terms. 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable hosting webinars and events. 

It would be great if you also had…

  • Master or above degree with major in Library industry
  • Willingness to travel and represent the company at conferences
  • Trusted advisor mindset with credibility in the library sector
  • Proactive, relationship-driven approach to engagement
  • Ability to translate technical features into operational and patron experience benefits
  • Comfortable working collaboratively with sales teams and independently when needed

What will you be doing in this role?

  • Support the Product Sales Manager ANZ/APAC in progressing existing opportunities with tailored, compelling proposals. 
  • Engage libraries through calls, emails, webinars, and newsletters to showcase technical benefits. 
  • Attend conferences and client meetings; travel independently as needed. 
  • Provide post-sale guidance to ensure full software adoption and create marquee library partners for case studies. 
  • Identify and refer new opportunities through industry engagement and relationship-building. 

Hours of Work

Full Time, Permanent (Monday-Friday, core business hours)

This is a hybrid position, working 2-3 days a week in one of our Clarivate offices
