The Opportunity
Boeing Defence Australia is looking to recruit high performing Technical Writers to support the MQ-28 Ghost Bat program. This role can be based in Brisbane or Amberley.

Responsibilities
Technical Writer responsibilities will include:
  • Development and review of critical and routine technical publication tasks for MQ-28 Ghost Bat customers
  • Working closely with other Technical Writers, Subject Matter Experts, Execution Leads and engineers to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks to achieve project deliveries
  • Conducting quality and in process reviews and validation of technical publications

Desirable Experience/Qualifications
  • Experience in the development and ongoing management of technical publications is desirable
  • S1000D experience desirable
  • XML or SGML experience desirable
  • Technical illustration experience is desirable
  • Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements
  • With the right attitude and communication skills, experience is not necessary
