    What You’ll Do: 

    As a leader in our IT Audit & Technology Assurance team, you will bridge the gap between high-level strategic growth of Protiviti’s Technology Assurance capability within the Internal Audit & Finance Advisory practice and the technical execution & management of a diverse client portfolio. 

    • Commercial and portfolio management: Oversee a diverse portfolio of IT audit / technology assurance engagements and ensuring deliverables meet Protiviti’s quality and methodology standards while maintaining full ownership of engagement economics, including budget setting, resource allocation and monitoring work in progress 

    • Quality and risk management: Serve a key reviewer for engagement quality which includes reviewing working papers and drafting and/or reviewing draft reports. Ensure all procedures and findings meet Protiviti’s quality and methodology standards 

    • Strategic client advisory: Client relationship: Act as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders. Responsible for managing client expectations, resolving conflicts and identifying business opportunities  

    • Commercial acumen: Proactively identify new client, market trends and engagement opportunities and lead the end-to-end proposal development lifecycle including the technical drafting of proposals and statements of works 

    • Practice development: Contribute to internal initiatives such as community working groups, internal training, community outreach programs and go-to-market strategies and identifying cross-selling opportunities within existing client accounts 

    • Solution integration: Collaborate across Protiviti’s service line offerings (i.e. Internal Audit, Technology Consulting, Risk and Controls and Business Process Improvement) to provide a ‘one firm’ seamless experience for clients. 

     

    What We’re Seeking: 

    • Experience: 8+ years' experience in technology assurance, IT audit, technology risk or internal audit. This includes 3 – 4 years of management capacity in a professional services environment. 

    • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Accounting, Audit or a related field  

    • Certification: CISA (certified Information Systems Auditor) is mandatory. Other relevant certifications like CISM, CIPP (Privacy), CDPSE (Data Privacy), CISSP (Security), CRISC (Risk and Information System Control or Cloud-specific certifications are a significant plus 

    • Industry focus: A subject matter / experienced in an industry (e.g., financial services, public sector, energy markets, healthcare) and deep knowledge of that sector’s regulatory landscape 

    • Advanced technical proficiency 

    • Experience in having delivered a broad range of assurance engagements such as, but not limited to, cybersecurity reviews, data governance and privacy reviews, and topical technology assurance topics e.g., ITGC, gen AI & third-party risk management, 

    • Strong understanding of COBIT, NIST and ISO 27001 frameworks or other relevant technology, assurance or risk management frameworks 

    • Experience with industry standard data analytics and technology enablement tools (e.g., Alteryx, SQL, generative AI) is highly valued.  

    • Willingness to travel to client sites (locally and nationally) as needed.
