You’ll advise on APRA standards (CPS220, CPS230, CPS234, etc.) and regulations such as GDPR and DORA, while strengthening compliance awareness across the team.
You’ll also support our first‑response process for technology incidents—managing triage, escalation, and assessing regulatory notification needs. Experience in major incident response and crisis management is essential.
A core part of the role includes uplifting regulatory capability by delivering targeted education, supporting self‑assessments, and helping ensure ongoing compliance commitments are met.
What you’ll do …

Raise awareness and educate Technology staff on regulatory obligations impacting IBAL’s Technology division.
Provide guidance on relevant European regulations and support IBAL in demonstrating compliance with global policy requirements.
Support major incident response by:
Assessing customer and regulatory impacts
Escalating issues promptly
Coordinating an effective and timely incident response.
What we’re looking for…
Strong understanding of banking regulations, with a proven track record in assessing regulatory applicability.
Experience as a Senior NFR Officer (or equivalent), with at least 5 years in risk areas relevant to Technology Risk Management as described above.
Solid knowledge of banking operations, external regulations, and associated processes, procedures, and systems.
Demonstrated experience implementing policies and procedures in a complex environment.
Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively across functional and geographical teams.
Strong relationship‑building skills, with the ability to earn trust and credibility with stakeholders.
