Could you be our next Deployment Lead?
Do you have proven project governance skills and a passion for working on local and global transformation projects? The Restaurant Technology team is offering an exciting opportunity for a Deployment Lead who will oversee key local and global projects for McDonald's related to back office operations, human resources, and supply chain management. You will provide training and support to local market teams, ensuring they are well-prepared for large-scale rollouts of initiatives.
What can you expect on a day-to-day basis?

  • Managing all phases of project delivery, including creating project charters, scoping, preparing project plans, identifying resource needs, scheduling meetings, conducting meetings and calls, reporting, managing implementation (POC, Ops Pilot, and Mass Deployment), transitioning to BAU, and closing projects
  • Identifying tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing market and business needs
  • Applying project methodology to ensure delivery timeframes are met and kept within budget (if applicable)
  • Managing McDonald's suppliers and global teams to deliver critical tasks within set deadlines and within budget where necessary
  • Regularly communicating and working with stakeholder groups - suppliers, global teams, product leads to keep up to date with any necessary information that may directly impact projects and initiatives
  • Assisting in the creation and maintenance of project artifacts, including design documents, test plans/cases and support and troubleshooting guides


Your keys to success:

  • 3 to 5 years' experience in a project governance role (for technology products).
  • Proven experience in Agile Methodology including principles and practices and Agile frameworks including Kanban and Scrum
  • Proven experience in planning, continuous integration and deployment skills
  • Strong conceptual thinking with the ability to communicate complex issues and information to all levels of the organisation
