Job DescriptionThe Technology Reporting Specialist will be part of the Strategy and Planning Team function within the Technology Business Unit and will be responsible for creation of all standardised Technology reporting and internal communications.
This role will be responsible for synthesizing complex information into clear, compelling reports and presentations for the Technology leadership team, the TAL executive team, TAL board members, Dai Ichi Group and all technology team. The ideal candidate excels at translating data into actionable insights and creating polished PowerPoint presentations that effectively communicate key messages.
Key Accountabilities:
- Collect, analyse, and synthesize data and information from multiple sources and design and develop automated reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using PowerPoint, Power BI, or similar platforms
- Partner with Technology users to understand reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Create concise, impactful PowerPoint presentations for executive audiences including standardized reporting templates and procedures to ensure consistency across all deliverables
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate information and develop comprehensive reports that distill complex information into clear insights
- Present key findings to leadership teams in a compelling, accessible manner
- Ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all communications
- Meet tight deadlines while maintaining exceptional quality standards
- Generate regular reports (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly) for various stakeholders including executive leadership, department heads, and operational teams
- Gather feedback on existing reports and implement improvements to enhance usability and relevance including Identifying opportunities to automate manual reporting processes and increase operational efficiency
- Contribute to the development of reporting standards and governance policies
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in reporting, business analysis, or communications
- Advanced PowerPoint skills with proven ability to create executive-level presentations
- Excellent data visualization capabilities
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights
- Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Power Bi, Tableau, or similar data tools
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
