ING Australia is on the search for Technology Risk professionals to join the team! This role requires a strong understanding of financial industry risk management frameworks and experience working in an operational environment.

In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our IT Risk compliance position to keep the bank safe. This includes coordinating control execution and audits, communicating with Risk, IT and business teams, monitoring metrics and remediate weaknesses where appropriate.

What you’ll do
 

  • Be the main point of contact and coordinate all IT risk activities owned by Tribes
  • Lead the prioritization and management of all IT risk activities outcomes, events issues and remediation that may arise, ensuring timely resolution and closure.
  • In partnership with the tribe stakeholders, support in execution of technology risk activities. This includes risk identification and assessment, incident and issues management, event management, risk in change assessments etc.
  • Assist in execution of control assurance activities for the tribe, such as evidence gathering and monitoring of execution of remedial actions.
  • Escalation of risk, control weakness, incidents and issues that remain unmitigated and/or outside tolerance to relevant stakeholders.
  • Building relationships and collaborating with stakeholders to drive outcome.

What are we looking for?

  • 5 Years of demonstrated deep and broad level of Technology Risk experience.
  • Excellent understanding of operational risks and control frameworks
  • Successful track record at executing risk and controls assessment process with specific considerations on Technology Risk, inclusive of driving agreement for management actions plans to improve risk profile outcomes
  • Controls Assurance and IT Audit experience
