Job Description

Motorola Solutions fixed and mobile video, access control and software solutions, led by our Avigilon Alta, Avigilon Unity and Pelco portfolios help you find, analyze and share information so you can respond to events with speed and purposefulness to keep your people and property safe. Whether you are looking to deploy a new video security or access control solution, equip your team with body-worn cameras, or leverage data through purpose-built applications, we have solutions to meet your needs.


Basic Requirements

Reporting to the Senior Sales Director, the Territory CAM Manager - Australia holds a key position that requires a dynamic individual who is knowledgeable and passionate about Video Security & Access Control. The Territory CAM Manager will drive the Channel Account Managers (CAMs) to lead all video solution selling initiatives with a defined list of channel partners in the assigned territory. Coach the CAMs to manage their partner relationships and to deploy sales actions and strategies in order to grow business and meet the account revenue goals within their assigned Territory.

This role will be responsible for leading the regional sales team covering Australia. This role will be responsible, but not limited to the following:

  • Pivotal Leadership role

  • Driving the CAM team to develop long term relationships with partners, educate them on our solutions, understand and articulate how our solutions help them sell more and provide more value to their customers, track and report on account activity.

  • Train the CAM team across the entire Motorola Solutions portfolio.

  • Working closely with the CAM team to ensure that the Channel Partner staff have taken the appropriate training to deploy our solutions successfully.

  • Responsible for the CAM team achieving their booking and invoicing quota, pipeline generation, and achieving their weekly meeting quota (with Partners).

  • Establish quarterly and annual sales objectives for all territories within the Region in coordination with the Senior Sales Director and Vice President of Sales - APAC.

  • Collaborate with colleagues including Channel Sales Executives, Channel Account Managers Corporate & Enterprise, Business Development Managers, Distribution Manager, Inside Sales (CAE), and Sales Engineering.

  • Implementing and monitoring KPIs

 

Education and Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

Experience and Skills

Essential:

  •  5+ years of video security solutions sales experience, particularly in managing and developing Territory accounts. Experience in managing transactional business is key. 

It will also be beneficial (not mandatory) if you have:

  • Physical security solutions experience is an asset 

  • Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills in both written and spoken English.

Personal Attributes

  • Strong technical acumen and ability to speak towards our products and solutions

  • Strong interpersonal skills required to manage a successful CAM team

  • Ability to accurately forecast revenue on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis

  • Proven record of achievement in delivering sales results and developing collaborative relationships

  • Strong understanding of our go-to-market strategy and sales philosophy is required

  • Time management skills are required, and candidates must have the ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex, fast-paced environment

  • Proven funnel development through aggressive prospecting

  • Exceptional presentation skills required

  • Strong computer skills with the ability to learn and demonstrate new software at a high level

  • Candidates must reside in Australia. Approximately 25-35% of national travel is required. Potential International travel for Sales conferences may be required.
