A Day in the LifeWe have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Territory Manager to join our Cranial and Spine Technologies sales team to be based in Richmond, Victoria. In this role, you will be driving sales growth and market share to key clinical staff within your territory. This will be an excellent opportunity for a skilled sales “hunter”. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Promotes and sells Medtronic's products and services within Melbourne Metro and specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.

  • Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including distributors and healthcare professionals.

  • Responsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic's products and/or services.

  • Promotes and establishes education of the company's products and/or services.

  • Conducts market research including customers and competitor’s activities.

  • Implements market development plans/strategies and changes as needed.

  • Communicates customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders including Research and Development, Operations and Marketing.

  • Responsible for a hospital account, overseeing logistics, driving strategic communication, and fostering strong relationships with key internal stakeholders to ensure operational excellence and sustained partnership growth.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in sales within the medical device industry

  • Experience working in an Operating Theatre

  • Experience as a lead/trainer/educator would be an advantage

  • Has own vehicle and an active driver’s license

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to build rapport with stakeholders

  • Self-motivated with a resilient attitude who strives to exceed customer expectations and deliver outstanding results
