Territory Sales Manager – Mid-Atlantic (DE, MD, DC, WV)

The ROCKWOOL Group's main business area is building insulation, providing thermal comfort along with fire safety and acoustical comfort for all types of buildings.

We are currently seeking a Territory Sales Manager, Mid Atlantic, to cover the greater Washington DC/Baltimore area including MD, VA, DE and WV.  We look for a true professional with high energy and a proven track record of success who will represent the ROCKWOOL™ values of ambition, responsibility, integrity and efficiency.  The ideal candidate is based in the MD, DC, WV triangle, within close proximity to our newest manufacturing facility and Brand Experience Center in Ranson, WV.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Maintain existing business and expand ROCKWOOL’s position as a major supplier of stone wool insulation to the entire building insulation sector in both residential and commercial channels
  • Develop and nurture robust business relationships with customers and industry professionals including but not limited to commercial wholesale insulation and building material distributors, retail/LBM locations, contractors, architects and engineers. 
  • Maintain awareness of local competitive conditions in the assigned area.
  • Achieve established sales and profit goals while operating within the allocated expense budget.
  • Opportunity to host architects, contractors, potential clients and customers at our state of the art Brand Experience Center at our facility in Ranson, WV.

What You Bring:

  • 4+ years sales experience w/ strong track record of success in Building Materials/ Construction sales a MUST
  • Understanding of the commercial and residential construction process
  • College degree
  • High drive, commitment, energy and integrity
  • Strong presentation and training skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Professional communication skills – both written and oral
  • Solid computer skills – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook CRM
  • Local travel with ability to travel overnights up to 50% of the time

The base salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $95,000.00. Your base salary is determined based on location, experience and the pay of employees in similar positions. This position is bonus eligible.
