As a Territory Sales Representative, you will provide technical sales support and customer-focused solutions to customers across the Southwest and Mid-West regions of Western Australia, working closely with Emerson’s established installed base.

By joining us, you will be part of a dynamic and customer-focused team that delivers isolation valve products, after-sales services, and long-term value to our customers.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Proactively build, maintain, and grow strong relationships with new and existing customers to drive new business and regional growth
  • Manage, promote, and grow isolation valve sales across the territory, with a strong focus on after-sales products, services, and long-term service agreements
  • Conduct customer presentations, training sessions, and participate in roadshows and exhibitions
  • Respond to customer enquiries and provide technical and commercial product support, working closely with the Proposals team to prepare quotations
  • Implement regional sales and marketing strategies, manage the assigned bookings budget, and maintain accurate CRM reporting while monitoring market trends and competitor activity

With a strong ability to influence, persuade, and communicate across diverse audiences, you take ownership of your territory and remain motivated to grow both customer partnerships and business performance. You operate effectively in dynamic environments, manage ambiguity well, and consistently align your efforts with broader organisational goals.

 
For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Previous sales experience, ideally within technical or industrial environments

  • Experience or knowledge of the mining, chemical, power, or water industries

  • Strong commercial awareness, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting

  • Well-developed interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills

  • Experience using CRM systems and the ability to manage and prioritise a regional sales territory
