Overview

We are seeking a skilled Test Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using tools like TOSCA, Selenium, Appium, TestNG, and Cucumber to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines, contributing to faster and more reliable software releases. Your Role and Responsibilities 

  • Evolve test automation frameworks for Mobile, Web and API
  • Expertise in at least one or more test automation tools. Eg: Selenium with Java/C#, TOSCA, Microfocus UFT/QTP, TestCafe, Appium, XCUITest, Espresso
  • Experience using Java, Junit, TestNG
  • Provide accurate estimates for delivery of test automation tasks – scripting, debugging and execution, reporting.
  • Knowledge in API testing (Rest Assured/JSON/XML)
  • Demonstrated experience using TDD or BDD (Java, Cucumber)
  • Perform code reviews with project teams related to test code
  • Assist in getting the automated test runs incorporated into the build/deploy pipeline
  • Assist in identifying infrastructure needs and stay on top of new technologies and frameworks.
  • Collaborate and work with project teams on implementing automation for their project
  • Coach teams to become autonomous with the test frameworks
  • Self-driven attitude to identify the gaps in existing framework and propose innovative solutions.
  • Work with operations and release management teams to create a continuous delivery pipeline.

Requirements

We’re looking for candidates with a combination of the following:   

  • 3–5 years of experience in automation testing, with hands-on expertise in TOSCA, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, or Cucumber.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript for test script development.
  • Experience with TOSCA Commander, TOSCA Test Case Design, and TOSCA’s model-based automation for creating reusable test modules.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).
  • Strong understanding of test automation frameworks (e.g., Data-Driven, Keyword-Driven, BDD, or TOSCA’s model-based frameworks).
  • Experience with API testing tools like Postman, REST Assured, or TOSCA API Scan.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in fast-paced development environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and document test processes.
