Exciting Opportunity for a Seasoned Test Lead to Drive Testing Across a Major Technology Program

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Test Lead to coordinate and execute testing for an extensive, technology-driven program of work. This role will involve both Functional and Non-Functional Testing, with a strong focus on load testing, performance testing, and failover/disaster recovery.

As a Test Lead within our IT Enterprise Testing Services team, you will be responsible for the full scope of testing activities across a large-scale infrastructure uplift program. This initiative aims to uplift and consolidate IT infrastructure and network components across the organization, followed by the migration of critical business services. The program focuses on the replacement and consolidation of core infrastructure across multiple data centers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the end-to-end testing process for a large-scale infrastructure and network uplift program.

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plan, including functional and non-functional testing (performance, load, failover/disaster recovery).

• Plan, coordinate, and manage the testing activities to ensure all infrastructure components are thoroughly tested and ready for migration.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure testing activities align with program milestones and objectives.

• Manage defect triage, risk assessments, and ensure test readiness across all environments.

• Drive Functional and Non-Functional Testing (Load, Performance, Fail Over/Disaster Recovery)

• Involve in the migration testing of business services from legacy to new infrastructure.

• Knowledge of industry best practices on infrastructure projects.

This is a two-year fixed term engagement.

Your Background:

Extensive experience in leading test programs with a focus on Technology, Infrastructure, and network uplift and implementations.

12years + of experience in planning and executing all aspects of Functional and Non-Functional Testing. Ideally in Infrastructure and Network projects with a focus on simplification, automation, security, and obsolescence.

• Proven ability to deliver comprehensive test plans and ensure successful execution in complex, high-stakes environments while collaborating with teams to define and implement effective test strategies.

• Hands-on experience with data centre testing, including infrastructure consolidation, network upgrades, and disaster recovery testing.

• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders, prioritize tasks, and coordinate testing activities across teams.

• Good understanding of test automation and a strong background in test lead/management for infrastructure projects.

• Knowledge of structured test management methodologies, ensuring adherence to internal frameworks, processes, and best practices for effectively managing all Testing and QA aspects of the program.

• Experience working with Test Manager to develop and maintain the Infrastructure Test plan, as well as Functional (SIT/UAT) and Non-Functional Test Plans (including Performance, Load/Stress, Failover, and Disaster Recovery), in collaboration with Project Managers, Service Providers, and key stakeholders.

• Experience with Performance Test Frameworks at the infrastructure and network level, along with planning for Failover and Disaster Recovery Testing.

• Expertise in identifying and managing testing risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies, and ensuring their timely implementation while measuring effectiveness.

• Extensive testing experience across various methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills to collaborate, influence, and partner effectively with key stakeholders both within the organization and externally.

• Strong experience in developing Test Plan document from scratch for infrastructure projects.

Note: This role requires extensive Infrastructure and Network understanding, and we are ideally seeking candidates who have worked on Infrastructure or network related projects.

Technical Capabilities:

• Demonstrated proficiency on Infrastructure Test frameworks and Performance Test frameworks.

• Establish and enforce best practices for test and infrastructure management to ensure high standards of quality and reliability.

• Strong experience in developing and implementing Infrastructure Test Strategies, plans, approaches and testing processes for User Acceptance and E2E testing, including non-functional (e.g., infrastructure, network, security and fail over testing).

• In-depth knowledge of network infrastructure components, including switches, firewalls, routers, and related technologies.

• Proven experience building team rapport and creating opportunities to facilitate collaboration within the team.

• Experience in test tools such as JMeter.

• Strong networking capability: demonstrated experience building networks of influence to support project outcomes.

• Ability to influence stakeholders.
