The opportunity

In this role This role is part of the AUSPAC division’s Data Services team in the Chief Data and Analytics Office. As QBE AUSPAC continues its transformation journey, as a Tibco specialist, you will help the team to integrate TIBCO EBX for Master Data Management and Reference Data Management and work with teams to enable the transformation journey

Your new role:

As a Tibco expertise, you will help streamline the integration of systems/platforms to ensure smooth data flow and provide real-time updates. Working with team to develop secure, scalable solutions, in line with regulatory requirements and help improve operational efficiency. Install, configure, and maintain TIBCO EBX, customising workflows, data models, and interfaces to meet business requirements.

Responsibilities include:

  • Design and manage master data models across domains (e.g., customer, product, supplier) and enforce data governance policies.
  • Integrate EBX with enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM) using APIs or middleware and automate data management tasks.
  • Monitor system performance, suggest optimisations, and resolve technical issues for EBX users.
  • Collaborate with data stewards, business teams, and project teams to ensure data quality, consistency, and seamless transitions of changes.
  • Provide ongoing support for critical production issues and contribute to architectural and performance improvement discussions.

About you:

You will be an expert in TIBCO products such as BusinessWorks, EMS, ActiveMatrix, and EBX, with a strong focus on enterprise application integration (EAI) and API management. You will display a solid understanding of master data management, data governance, and workflow automation, along with programming skills in Java, XML, JSON, and scripting languages for customisations. Strong problem-solving abilities are essential for diagnosing and resolving technical issues, while collaboration skills enable effective communication with cross-functional teams. Additionally, experience in monitoring and optimizing system performance is crucial to ensure reliability and scalability.

You will have:

  • Proficiency with Tibco EBX product, configuring changes for out of box functionality, performing code changes as per requirements. Testing and deploying Tibco changes.
  • Strong skills in Java programming.
  • Experience in integration of Tibco using Azure integration tools(Logic Apps, Functions, API management).
  • Ability to work on Linux and Windows platforms and write SQL queries
  • Experience with Azure Devops or Github
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to understand complex issues to non-technical stakeholders.
