We’re looking for a proactive and detail-driven Total Rewards & People Services Business Partner to join our HR team in Sydney or Casino, NSW, Australia or Auckland, New Zealand. In this role, you will lead the delivery and continuous improvement of payroll operations, remuneration processes, employee benefits, and people administration across the organisation.
Working closely with HR, Finance, and business leaders, this role ensures payroll accuracy, reward competitiveness, and well-governed people processes that support business performance and a positive employee experience. You will combine operational excellence with analytical insight to drive data-informed reward decisions and scalable HR processes.

Job Description
What You’ll Do:
Payroll Operations & Governance: Lead the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant delivery. Manage UKG Workforce Management (Kronos) and One View systems, maintain payroll calendars and reconciliations, and partner with Finance to ensure strong governance, audit readiness, and data integrity.
Total Rewards Strategy & Remuneration Reviews: Lead annual and ad-hoc remuneration review processes including planning, benchmarking, governance, and reporting. Partner with HR and business leaders to ensure competitive, fair, and well-informed remuneration and benefits decisions.
Benefits & Recognition Programs: Manage and continuously improve employee benefits and recognition programs, ensuring effective administration, strong governance, and clear communication across the organisation.
HR Operations & Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement across HR administration, payroll, and people systems by simplifying processes, improving system utilisation, and maintaining clear procedures and governance controls.
Data, Reporting & Insights: Maintain HR and payroll data integrity and produce regular reporting on payroll, remuneration, and benefits. Analyse trends and partner with HR and Finance to support data-driven insights and compliance reporting.
Essential Criteria:
5+ years’ experience in remuneration, rewards, or payroll operations
3+ years’ experience using UKG Workforce Management (Kronos) and One View systems
What You’ll Bring to the Table
Qualification in Human Resources, Commerce, Accounting, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
Proven experience managing end-to-end payroll operations in a complex environment
Experience leading remuneration reviews, benchmarking, and benefits administration
Experience driving process improvement across HR administration and people systems
Strong understanding of payroll legislation, industrial instruments, and governance controls
Strong analytical capability with high attention to detail and data accuracy
Advanced computer skills including HRIS, payroll systems, and reporting tools
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and sensitive information
