Job DescriptionWe are seeking experienced a Trade Assistant to join our team in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Assist electricians and mechanical fitters with field tasks, ensuring tools, materials, and equipment are ready and available.
Prepare work areas with appropriate safety setups including EWP and other equipment.
Support the installation of electrical systems and mechanical assemblies.
Assist in basic testing and troubleshooting under supervision.
Accurately record inspections, observations, and help prepare compliance and project reports.
Actively participate in learning opportunities to gain knowledge of systems and standards.
Accurately complete timesheets and job tracking records.
Follow all safety procedures, wear appropriate PPE, and maintain a clean work environment.
Report safety concerns and incidents promptly.
Minimum 2 years' experience in a trade assistant or similar field-based role.
Must be a Kalgoorlie resident.
Strong interest in mechanical or electrical systems, with a willingness to learn.
Knowledge of Konecranes and Demag products is a plus.
Crane Driving Certificate of Competency required.
Dogging/Rigging licence highly regarded.
EWP (Elevated Work Platform) ticket desirable.
Valid and current Driver Licence essential.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Understanding of and commitment to WHS, Environmental, and Quality standards.
