About TMGM

TMGM is a leading provider of online trading and investment services, with a global presence and a strong reputation as a trusted CFD trading provider.

We are committed to delivering an exceptional trading experience through robust regulatory standards, innovative technology, competitive trading conditions, and high-quality client service. By continuously investing in our trading infrastructure, liquidity solutions, and platform capabilities, we aim to provide our clients with reliable and efficient access to global financial markets.

At TMGM, we foster a collaborative and fast-paced environment where teams work closely together to enhance operational efficiency, strengthen risk controls, and support the continued growth of the business.

About the role

As part of our commitment to maintaining strong operational and risk management standards, we are seeking a Trading Operations Analyst to join our Trading team.

You will own the day-to-day running of a defined set of trading operations workstreams: MT4/MT5 configuration, plugin support (Copy Trading, MAM, Dynamic Margin) and operational cases, working closely with Dealing, Liquidity and Technology. You will resolve routine and moderately complex issues independently, make production changes within approved change procedures, and escalate high-risk or cross-system issues to the Trading Operations Engineer with a clear diagnosis.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of experience in trading operations, technical operations, risk, data analysis or a related role, with working SQL and coding skills and sound judgement. Brokerage or MT4/MT5 experience is not required but is a strong advantage. This is not a software engineering role, but you will use code day-to-day. There is a clear progression path to Trading Operations Engineer.

Responsibility

  • Own the day-to-day case queue: triage, prioritise and resolve operational requests and incidents end to end, and follow up on root causes.
  • Configure and administer MT4/MT5 trading settings, risk parameters and platform controls, implementing changes under established change procedures.
  • Support and troubleshoot platform plugins, including Copy Trading, MAM (Multi-Account Manager) and Dynamic Margin.
  • Investigate platform and plugin issues using logs and SQL; resolve routine cases and escalate complex ones with evidence and a proposed fix.
  • Build and maintain recurring reports and monitoring checks, automating repetitive tasks with SQL and scripting.
  • Work with various teams to identify trading-related operational risks, and explain findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Maintain procedures and documentation, and propose practical improvements to controls and workflows.

Requirements

Must have

    • 2–4 years of experience in trading operations, technical operations, risk, data analysis or a related role, ideally in financial services.
    • Working SQL, with the ability to query and analyse trading and platform data independently.
    • Coding experience (e.g. Python) to automate tasks or analyse data.
    • Solid grasp of financial markets and trading concepts, and an interest in learning brokerage operations.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving and prioritisation skills, with attention to detail and sound judgement.
    • Clear communicator who works well with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

    • Experience in a brokerage, CFD, Forex or leveraged trading environment.
    • Hands-on MT4/MT5 exposure (administration, configuration, risk controls) and plugins such as Copy Trading, MAM or Dynamic Margin.
    • Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, IT, Engineering or a related field; relevant experience also considered.
    • Business-level Mandarin, written and spoken.

Benefits
  • Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.
  • Opportunities for career growth and development within a global company.
  • Collaborative and inclusive work environment with exposure to cross-region operations.
  • Health and wellness benefits.
  • Flexible working arrangements.
