Job Description

What you will do

The Trading Team Lead is the core leader of the A360 and carsalesXT Trading Team that programmatically delivers and optimises client campaigns against Audience360’s first-party audiences across all channels and environments. Reporting into the Head of Customer Success this role plays a key function within the Customer Success Centre of Excellence.

  • Work closely with the Head of Customer Success and other key leaders within the Centre of Excellence to set trading and customer strategy.
  • Day to day management of the team incl:
    • Assignment of workload
    • Upskilling and development planning for team members
    • Go to in addressing campaign queries
    • Involved in internal campaign management WIPs with Client Service teams
    • Work with sales to ensure processes in place between functions
    • Review campaigns and monitor COS
  • Overview the delivery and execution of digital campaigns for clients by the trading team
  • Buy media across social channels along with programmatically trading display, video, mobile and other/new channels available using proprietary platforms & 1st party data
  • Create optimisation strategies across our campaigns to achieve and surpass client KPIs including performance, delivery and margin
  • Liaise with technology vendors/suppliers as needed
  • Prepare campaign performance and analytics reports in a timely and accurate manner
  • Evaluate data performance and recommending improvements in order to achieve optimal performance

Qualifications

What we are looking for

  • Demonstrated inclusive and interpersonal attributes that connect you to our behaviours (we change the game, we own it, we step in, we are curious, we don’t take ourselves too seriously)
  • Expertise in Digital Media Buying with experience within buy side platforms for both social and digital media
  • Team management experience 
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience with Data Management Platforms and/or use cases of first party data
  • Solid analytical skills including Excel, data visualisation and interpretation skills
  • Can easily manage multiple activities simultaneously while managing potentially conflicting priorities and stakeholder needs
  • An understanding of the Australian media and advertising agency landscape
  • Experience working with internal and external customers
  • Delivers results and has a clear understanding of the commercial impact of their efforts
