We’re seeking a Transformation Lead to play a pivotal Program Management Office (PMO) role in driving QBE’s strategic transformation agenda. Acting as a central coordination point, you will bring structure, discipline, and oversight to a portfolio of initiatives across the Chief Data, AI, and Enterprise Technology Office.

In this role, you will champion transformation governance, ensure delivery standards are met, maintain portfolio visibility, and enable effective decision‑making through high‑quality reporting and analysis. You’ll partner with senior leaders to keep initiatives on track, manage risks and dependencies, and embed consistent frameworks that support successful delivery across the organisation.

About QBE

  • What if you could have a positive impact – at work and in the world? As part of the QBE team, you’ll get to spend every day working with people who are passionate, talented and kind.

Your new role

  • Lead and manage transformation initiatives through a structured, disciplined delivery lifecycle

  • Oversee portfolio management, ensuring visibility of progress, risks, dependencies, and benefits

  • Produce high‑quality reporting, dashboards, and insights to support executive decision‑making

  • Maintain and uplift transformation governance frameworks, processes, and standards

  • Coordinate governance forums, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives and timely flow of information

  • Support business case development, resource planning, and prioritisation activities

  • Provide structure, guidance, and PMO best‑practice to uplift delivery capability across teams

  • Act as a trusted advisor, bringing clarity, organisation, and delivery confidence to transformation efforts

  • This is a broad role and there will be times that you will need to support different stages of the project lifecycle from business case development to implementation.

About you

  • Strong PMO or project delivery experience within complex organisations

  • Skilled in portfolio management, governance, resource planning, and structured reporting

  • Ability to coordinate multi‑disciplinary workstreams and maintain delivery discipline

  • Experience developing business cases, operating models, and supporting transformation frameworks

  • Confident influencing senior stakeholders and driving alignment across teams

  • Financial services experience preferred, with an understanding of insurance and technology environments
