The opportunity
We’re seeking a Transformation Lead to play a pivotal Program Management Office (PMO) role in driving QBE’s strategic transformation agenda. Acting as a central coordination point, you will bring structure, discipline, and oversight to a portfolio of initiatives across the Chief Data, AI, and Enterprise Technology Office.
In this role, you will champion transformation governance, ensure delivery standards are met, maintain portfolio visibility, and enable effective decision‑making through high‑quality reporting and analysis. You’ll partner with senior leaders to keep initiatives on track, manage risks and dependencies, and embed consistent frameworks that support successful delivery across the organisation.

Your new role
Lead and manage transformation initiatives through a structured, disciplined delivery lifecycle
Oversee portfolio management, ensuring visibility of progress, risks, dependencies, and benefits
Produce high‑quality reporting, dashboards, and insights to support executive decision‑making
Maintain and uplift transformation governance frameworks, processes, and standards
Coordinate governance forums, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives and timely flow of information
Support business case development, resource planning, and prioritisation activities
Provide structure, guidance, and PMO best‑practice to uplift delivery capability across teams
Act as a trusted advisor, bringing clarity, organisation, and delivery confidence to transformation efforts
This is a broad role and there will be times that you will need to support different stages of the project lifecycle from business case development to implementation.
About you
Strong PMO or project delivery experience within complex organisations
Skilled in portfolio management, governance, resource planning, and structured reporting
Ability to coordinate multi‑disciplinary workstreams and maintain delivery discipline
Experience developing business cases, operating models, and supporting transformation frameworks
Confident influencing senior stakeholders and driving alignment across teams
Financial services experience preferred, with an understanding of insurance and technology environments
