The Role & What We Are Looking For

Reporting to the Travel Manager, Capricorn's Travel Consultants are responsible for the sale and coordination of travel arrangements for customers while providing information, advice and booking services. We are currently seeking an experienced travel consultant to join our expanding team.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role.

• Familiarity with Gal or Sabre experience required. Experience using other travel booking systems will be considered.

• Our team is based in Sydney CBD so the ideal candidate MUST be Sydney based.

• Customer service focused to a high level

• Ability to work independently to reach sales targets and KPI’s.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning, preparing and costing itineraries (travel plans) for customers;

• Confirming bookings and notifying clients of luggage limits and insurance, medical, passport, visa, and currency requirements;

• Entering consumer details, travel details, account details and notes in the travel system and maintaining 100% accuracy;

• Issuing tickets for travel, accommodation vouchers, invoices and all relevant documentation within deadline timeframes;

• Collecting payments and maintaining records of transactions.
