About the role:
The Treasury Manager will play a key role in supporting CDC’s financial strategy, with a focus on capital planning, debt funding, and treasury risk management. This position is instrumental in helping optimise the company’s capital structure and ensuring effective financial decision-making.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Lead and execute debt raising and capital market activity to support CDC’s large-scale funding needs and growth plans.
  • Develop and manage core treasury capabilities in-house, including cash management, intercompany funding, interest rate risk, and reporting.
  • Drive treasury innovation, implementing best practices, automation and a Treasury Management System (TMS) to streamline operations.
  • Build strong relationships with financiers and credit rating agencies, contributing to CDC’s sustainable finance and green debt strategy.

About you: 

This role suits someone with strong treasury and capital markets experience, especially in debt raising, managing complex funding structures, and building internal capability within large, fast-paced organisations.

  • Strong knowledge and hands on experience across funding markets (corporate, project finance, debt capital markets), legal agreements, credit rating management
  • Extensive experience in treasury management, including liquidity and cashflow management and risk management including interest rate risk and foreign exchange risk mitigation
  • A background in corporate treasury, investment banking, corporate banking or financial advisory, with strong relationship management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability of being proactive and effectively influencing stakeholders on key projects and contracts.
  • Experience implementing a Treasury Management System (TMS) is highly desirable.

 Essential:

Australian Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a NV1 Security Clearance.
