An exciting opportunity to be part of the wider Perpetual team as Trustee Services State Manager – Health and Personal Injury NSW. The role is focused on leading the delivery of high quality services to H&PI NSW, VIC and SA clients and stakeholders through active leadership of the NSW H&PI team and hands on management of client escalations. Managing a team of Trust Managers to achieve the strategic goals of the H&PI team and wider Trustee Services Team.

About the role:

  • Deliver high quality service to clients and stakeholders

  • Appropriately managing risk to achieve business outcomes whilst maintaining compliance with regulations and policies, including the monitoring of dashboards to ensure compliance with SLAs

  • Coaching and development of staff  Ensure relationships with Alliance Partners and internal stakeholders are maintained and grow

  • Lead the collaboration with other business units to ensure operational excellency, including representing H&PI at various internal forums

  • Ensure H&PI remains a profitable business and achieves client retention and growth

  • Lead, deliver and embed strategic initiatives

  • Managing the review of policies and procedures affecting the H&PI business through the Edge Group function

About you:

  • Demonstrated leadership ability in a financial or professional services environment

  • Strong operational and people leadership skills

  • High level of initiative and motivation to drive results

  • Demonstrated track record of developing and maintaining strong, trusted relationships with internal and external clients

  • Strategic mindset, with the ability to consider a range of factors and provide a fresh perspective

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Superior coaching skills

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in client facing or operational service delivery role.

  • Minimum 3 years of people and team leadership experience in a financial or professional services environment.
