Veeam's recent launch of Veeam Data Cloud (VDC) for Salesforce creates a massive opportunity for growth in Australia’s Salesforce-rich market, and we're seeking an exceptional Senior Sales Specialist with strategic-level sales experience to drive this business forward. Reporting to the WW Specialist Sales leader for VDC Salesforce, you'll leverage your enterprise software expertise to partner with our local teams to create world-class customer experiences and make a significant impact in a rapidly expanding market. For the right individual with senior-level sales experience, this role offers an exceptional opportunity to shape our go-to-market strategy and make a significant impact in a new and rapidly growing business area with high visibility across Veeam's global organization. 


Responsibilities 

This quota-carrying role drives Salesforce data protection revenue in the ANZ region. As a senior expert in Veeam's VDC Salesforce solution, you'll operate with considerable autonomy to drive business outcomes and revenue growth. You'll work directly with C-level stakeholders, engage in high-value strategic accounts, and guide regional teams to increase win rates, expand deal size, and accelerate sales cycles. 

You'll collaborate with our VDC Salesforce Specialist SE to form a powerful strategic team – you securing executive business decisions while the SE secures technical wins. Together, you'll leverage the Veeam-Salesforce partnership to build enterprise-level relationships and create compelling ROI scenarios that resonate with senior decision makers. 

You'll develop comprehensive territory strategies, deliver accurate forecasts, master compete plays, and significantly increase deal velocity through your executive-level relationships and strategic selling expertise. 

 

On a day-to-day basis, this role will:  

  • Drive sales fundamentals (pipeline coverage, forecast accuracy, win rates) 
  • Lead customer meetings that advance VDC Salesforce opportunities 
  • Partner with territory AEs to ensure effective account coverage and pursuit team alignment 
  • Build and nurture C-level relationships across the Salesforce ecosystem to generate pipeline, drive co-selling opportunities, and create multi-channel growth 
  • Develop and drive a scalable "win formula" by identifying and documenting successful sales tactics 
  • Represent Veeam at key Salesforce events to build brand awareness and generate leads 
  • Provide strategic market intelligence and competitive insights to inform product and go-to-market strategies 
  • Mentor field teams on effective enterprise selling approaches for VDC Salesforce 

Qualifications  

  • 12+ years enterprise software sales experience with proven track record of selling to and building relationships with C-level executives 
  • Proven track record exceeding quotas in competitive markets 
  • Experience in partner-driven go-to-market models 
  • Deep understanding of the regional Salesforce ecosystem and market dynamics 
  • Executive presence with ability to articulate complex value propositions to senior business leaders 
  • Strategic mindset with excellent business acumen and deal structuring capabilities 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for both external and internal audiences 
  • Strong team player able to influence without direct authority - expect to be personally engaged in strategic opportunities while also driving success through others 
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% within ANZ and occasionally globally 

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cloud-native backup solutions, established relationships within the Salesforce ecosystem, knowledge of regional data protection requirements and compliance standards, and a history of successfully launching new products/solutions in enterprise accounts
