About the Opportunity..

As a Workday Business Analyst, you will sit at the intersection of P&C, Technology and our business. You will lead business analysis and process design for Workday and related People systems, ensuring they are configured, integrated and optimised to support our broader People & Culture strategy.

You will work closely with Payroll, Workforce Planning, HR, Finance, IT & Security and external vendors to improve end‑to‑end employee journeys through better processes, smarter automation and robust data flows.

About the Role..

  • Business analysis & process design: Lead discovery sessions and workshops with P&C and business stakeholders; and Map and document current and future state processes for Workday and related People systems.
  • Workday optimisation & configuration: Support, maintain and optimise Workday business processes across current and future modules.
  • AI‑enabled process improvements: Identify and assess AI, RPA and automation use cases across People & Culture to reduce manual work and improve employee and manager experience.
  • Requirements, testing & release: Gather and document detailed business requirements, functional specs and operational workbooks.
  • Integrations & data flows: Collaborate with Payroll and Workforce Planning on functional integration design, reconciliation and validation and support functional mapping, validation and testing of integrations between Workday and other systems (payroll, time and attendance, access, third‑party vendors).
  • Knowledge sharing & stakeholder support: Provide consultation and guidance on Workday and People systems to HR Advisors, HR leaders and other stakeholders.

What you bring to the role… 

  • Workday experience: 3+ years of Workday experience 
  • Business analysis skills: Expert requirements elicitation, process mapping and functional specification skills.
  • Workday functional knowledge: Strong functional understanding across Workday to validate AMS work and perform limited low‑risk configuration.
  • Automation & AI awareness: Practical understanding of AI, RPA and ML concepts, and how they can be applied in People/HR processes.
  • Integration know‑how: Experience or knowledge of Workday integration frameworks and APIs, and how data flows between systems.
  • Cross‑functional collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively with HR, Finance, Payroll, IT & Security and external vendors.
  • Documentation discipline: Experience producing high‑quality requirements, process maps, functional specs, test cases and acceptance criteria.
