The Opportunity
We are seeking a Workday Functional Lead to join our Global Platforms Technology team to support in managing the operations and service delivery of People/HR and Culture platforms.

Your new role
Work alongside the Global Platforms Application Lead, you will own and be responsible for planning and driving activities that enable the assessment of business need, capture of requirements, design of appropriate solutions and delivery of solutions.
Serve as the expert with in-depth understanding and technical know-how to design and evaluate solutions, ensuring they meet business needs, and oversees quality assurance activities like user acceptance testing. Bringing in Workday domain knowledge and HR process understanding is essential with an ability to ensure that the design (process, technology, and content) is fit for purpose and meets the organisation's needs. Working closely with the team you will step in to help to out on various projects, stakeholder management, vendor management and preparing reports.
Other responsibilities include:
- Serve as a primary interface between business and IT teams to identify problems, challenges, or opportunities within business solutions, IT systems, or processes.
- Lead in an agile working environment and encourage collaborative working, innovation, and flexibility in personal style and approach towards others.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather business requirements and provide expertise and guidance and ensure alignment providing solutions in line with strategic goals.
- Promote positive changes to enhance analysis outputs by identifying areas for improvement and efficiencies in the analysis process.
About you
You will have proven experience as a lead IT business analyst managing the end-to-end process including, analysing business processes, developing business cases, overseeing user acceptance testing, service introduction to BAU and delivering value.
- Experience in liaising between business stakeholders and technical teams, regularly updating project managers and senior leadership on project status, risks, and issues.
- Strong analytical and communication abilities, technical proficiency, leadership, project management, problem-solving and attention to detail.
- Ability to work individually or as team member with high organisational and multitasking skills.
- Understanding of technical and regulatory requirements involved in control testing, performing audits to ensure we are staying current with industry best practices and trends.
- Strong analysing ability and understanding of multiples technologies and applications in BA suite and HR suite will be a plus.
- Competent working in Agile environments and have Workday fundamental training and certifications.
