About the Role

The Workplace Experience Specialist is the face of IT within BDO offices, delivering high‑quality, in‑person technology support that enables our people to work productively and confidently every day.

This hands‑on role supports devices, meeting rooms, AV and Microsoft Teams Rooms, onboarding and offboarding, walk‑up support, and VIP stakeholders. You’ll play a key role in ensuring a seamless Day 1 experience, reliable workplace technology, and a professional digital environment across the firm.

This role has a primary onsite requirement of five days per week due to operational and client service needs.

About the Team

The Information Technology team sits within BDO’s Shared Services group, delivering secure, reliable and high‑performing technology services nationally. We work closely with the business to ensure technology remains a strategic enabler and supports a modern, connected workplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide face‑to‑face, in‑office IT support across devices, peripherals, Microsoft 365, Teams and collaboration tools

  • Deliver walk‑up / tech‑bar support with a customer‑first approach

  • Support device builds, swaps, onboarding and offboarding activities

  • Assist with meeting rooms, AV and Microsoft Teams Rooms, including hybrid meetings

  • Provide responsive support to Partners, Directors and senior leaders

  • Log, update and resolve IT incidents and requests, escalating where required

  • Maintain accurate asset records and contribute to documentation and knowledge articles

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

  • Qualification in IT or related discipline (or equivalent experience)

  • Experience delivering in‑person IT support in a corporate or professional services environment

  • Strong knowledge of Windows devices, Microsoft 365 and Teams

  • Exposure to device lifecycle management and meeting room / AV support

  • Familiarity with ITSM tools and ITIL practices (ServiceNow experience desirable)

  • Strong communication skills, professionalism and a customer‑centric mindset

  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, onsite environment
