Supports the APAC Consumer Product Finance team with budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, quarterly close, data uploads, reporting, purchase-order checks, financial analysis, and presentation preparation. The intern also assists with ad hoc finance tasks and contract analysis while collaborating with territory teams across the APAC business.

Manage financial reporting, month-end close, reconciliations, tax compliance, statutory accounts, audits, forecasting, budgeting, film budget analysis, fixed assets, and financial controls for Australia and New Zealand. The role partners with marketing, sales, headquarters, distribution partners, tax agents, auditors, and an offshore processing team while ensuring compliance with internal policies, local legislation, Australian/NZ tax requirements, and global accounting standards.

Supports Universal Pictures’ finance function through vendor setup, accounts payable, bank and general ledger reconciliations, journal preparation, payment processing, audit support, intercompany recharges, expense reconciliation, forecasting data entry, BAS returns, and administrative tasks. The intern works part time for nine months while remaining enrolled in studies and assists with film marketing purchase orders and regional finance teams.
