Lead AbbVie’s national oncology sales team across Australia, coaching and developing talent while driving customer-centric field execution and portfolio growth. Translate brand and marketing strategies into commercial plans, manage resources and budget, partner cross-functionally with Medical, Marketing and Market Access, and oversee recruitment, performance, succession planning and compliance. The role requires strong pharmaceutical industry knowledge, strategic and commercial acumen, stakeholder influence and people leadership, with oncology experience preferred.

Reviews promotional and non-promotional pharmaceutical materials for medical accuracy, regulatory compliance, and industry Code adherence. Advises Medical, Regulatory, and Commercial stakeholders; provides training and scientific support; maintains review SOPs and guidance; coordinates label-impact assessments; evaluates scientific literature and clinical data; supports Code complaints and medical information responses; and reports adverse events according to company policy.

Leads clinical operations across Australia and New Zealand, managing clinical research teams, study delivery, site performance, audits, CAPA, resources, budgets, feasibility, and stakeholder engagement. Ensures compliance with GCP, ICH guidelines, regulations, SOPs, and quality standards while mentoring staff, managing risks, driving process improvements, and supporting pipeline execution across therapeutic areas and study phases.

Conducts site evaluation, training, on-site and remote monitoring, and site closure for clinical trials. Ensures protocol compliance, patient safety, data quality, regulatory and inspection readiness, and timely safety reporting. Builds investigator and site relationships, supports recruitment and retention, manages risk signals and corrective actions, and contributes therapeutic-area expertise. Also mentors junior CRAs, supports investigator selection, manages payments, and participates in cross-functional initiatives.

Leads AbbVie’s ANZ data and AI strategy, overseeing analytics, data science, governance, market intelligence, reporting, data quality, and machine learning initiatives. Builds high-performing teams, drives data literacy and self-service analytics, ensures regulatory compliance, manages budgets and vendors, and partners with commercial, technology, and global teams. The role translates data and AI capabilities into customer engagement, operational efficiency, commercial insights, and measurable business outcomes.

Designs and advances real-world evidence studies across Australia and New Zealand, translating evidence gaps into feasible observational research concepts. The role maps healthcare data assets, evaluates emerging methodologies, coaches Medical Managers, builds reusable RWE tools and playbooks, and represents ANZ in international evidence communities. It combines epidemiology, study design, healthcare data expertise, strategic influence, and capability development to improve evidence generation and support healthcare access and outcomes.
