Source and evaluate early-stage AI companies across Australia and New Zealand, build founder and research networks, conduct technical and commercial diligence, write investment memos, lead deals, support portfolio companies, and contribute to Airtree’s internal AI tools and evaluation frameworks.

Lead the optimization and scaling of Airtree’s data infrastructure across Snowflake, dbt, AWS Lambda, and Streamlit. Build reliable ETL/ELT pipelines, improve data models, support investment origination and portfolio reporting, enhance dashboards, identify system bottlenecks, and promote data-driven decision-making. Collaborate with investment, strategy, investor relations, and finance stakeholders while translating complex technical concepts into practical insights.

Lead scientific delivery of customer antibody programs from cell-line strategy through upstream process development and scale-up. Design and run DoEs across high-throughput screens and bioreactors, diagnose cell-line or process issues, develop media and feeds, ensure stability and banking, coordinate with analytics and downstream teams, and communicate results and risks to customers while delegating routine execution to operations.
