Perform accurate entry, management and collation of technical laboratory data; provide administration, reception and laboratory support; communicate results to clients and internal teams; meet deadlines under high sample volumes and tight turnaround times.

Collect client samples using a company vehicle, complete courier schedules safely and on time, conduct sampling according to procedures, assist with laboratory sample processing, and adapt to changing client requests. Establishes and leads an accredited asbestos laboratory operation in Smithfield, Sydney. Responsibilities include recruiting and developing asbestos identifiers and fibre counters, managing workflows and resources, providing technical leadership, maintaining accreditation and quality requirements, leading proficiency testing and continuous improvement, and supporting safety, customer service, business growth, and strategic priorities.

Assists with maintaining remote stream-flow monitoring stations, collecting and verifying environmental data, installing and upgrading monitoring equipment, and completing field projects. Responsibilities include accurate field records, photographs and maps, use of hand and power tools, manual excavation, and working safely in varied outdoor conditions. The role provides on-the-job training and support toward a Diploma of Water Operations in Hydrography.

As a Coal Quality Tester, you'll support laboratory operations by preparing samples, conducting physical tests, and maintaining quality and safety standards.

Conduct laboratory testing and analysis of coal and geological samples using approved methods and analytical instrumentation, including ICP-MS where applicable. Prepare samples, operate and troubleshoot equipment, record and report results, identify deviations, maintain data integrity, and follow quality, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. The role also includes equipment maintenance, calibration, proficiency testing, continuous improvement, and maintaining clean, organized laboratory facilities.
