Provides independent risk oversight and challenge across diversified investment portfolios. Responsibilities include portfolio analytics, stress testing, scenario analysis, liquidity assessments, investment decision challenge, emerging-risk identification, governance reporting, and continuous improvement of risk frameworks, systems, data, and reporting. The role partners with portfolio managers, trustees, committees, and senior stakeholders to align investment risks with objectives, mandates, risk budgets, and member outcomes.

Partner with the Superannuation & Investments business to design and test risk and compliance controls, support risk assessments and incident reviews, maintain GRC records, deliver reporting and training, and support regulatory change, outsourcing reviews, business continuity and risk appetite monitoring to ensure risks remain within appetite.

Manage and develop AMP’s platform insurance proposition, including product lifecycle activities, pricing and re-rates, disclosures, governance, regulatory change, risk and compliance, issue resolution, and performance monitoring. Coordinate with insurers, administrators, and internal stakeholders to deliver effective insurance outcomes. Prepare product analysis, governance updates, business papers, and recommendations while supporting member and adviser outcomes.
