Drive workforce planning for Design & Engineering across APAC by forecasting demand, improving data quality, supporting talent deployment, managing supply and demand risks, and advising managers, project leaders, and pursuit teams. A 10–12-week summer vacation program for penultimate-year university students studying engineering, transport or urban planning, sustainability, architecture, science, or environmental engineering. Participants work with Arcadis teams on city-shaping projects, develop professional skills, build industry networks, and gain consulting experience. Applicants need strong communication, collaboration, adaptability, a curious attitude, valid Australian working rights, a CV, and a recent academic transcript.

Lead infrastructure advisory projects involving business cases, economic appraisals, feasibility studies, technical reviews, and options assessments. Build client relationships, identify opportunities, develop proposals, win new work, and manage multidisciplinary teams. Provide strategic insights on infrastructure, transport, and policy challenges while supporting team growth, capability development, and integrated client solutions across Australia.

Leads transport planning and traffic engineering projects, including traffic impact assessments, active transport plans, multimodal strategies, strategic studies, and options assessments. Manages project delivery, budgets, schedules, and quality; serves as a discipline lead; develops proposals and client relationships; supports business growth; engages stakeholders; and mentors junior staff.

Leads multidisciplinary design delivery for large renewable energy projects from feasibility through construction support. Manages design scope, schedules, resources, quality, risks, compliance, stakeholder coordination, and technical interfaces across solar, wind, BESS, hybrid renewable, transmission, substation, and grid connection projects. Works closely with clients, contractors, utilities, regulators, project directors, and discipline leads to deliver designs within budget, schedule, safety, and project requirements.

Leads digital transformation, data services, and product implementation projects for public and private-sector clients. Advises clients on technology strategies, cloud platforms, solution design, and digital delivery. Manages Agile projects and multidisciplinary teams, supports business development and proposals, develops digital service offerings, engages technical and non-technical stakeholders, and mentors junior colleagues. The role also contributes to digital best practices and innovation across Arcadis’s global communities.

Lead and maintain quality management for engineering and consultancy projects: develop and enforce QA/QC processes, ensure compliance with standards, and coordinate quality improvements across teams.

Contribute to multimodal transport planning projects including active and public transport, corridor and precinct network planning, traffic engineering assessments, and prepare reports, presentations and proposals while developing technical skills and supporting project delivery.

Lead pursuit planning and positioning for high-value bids: facilitate workshops, shape win strategies, coach teams on competitive positioning, oversee complex proposals from strategy to submission, and influence senior stakeholders to secure opportunities.

Lead delivery of urban development projects (primarily industrial), provide technical leadership, manage project performance, budgets, H&S and resources, support project managers, develop client accounts and new business, and ensure sustainable, risk‑aware delivery meeting time, cost and quality targets.
