Drives new product introduction and sustaining engineering for networking hardware. Responsibilities include design-for-manufacturing reviews, technical readiness, BOM and ECO management, component qualification, prototype debugging, root-cause analysis, manufacturing process improvement, defect reduction, cost reduction, and coordination with engineering and contract manufacturing teams. The role also provides manufacturing training, approves PCB first articles, evaluates new manufacturing technologies, and develops process documentation.

Leads and scales Arista’s Sydney hardware engineering organization, overseeing hardware, firmware, signal integrity, diagnostics, and FPGA teams. The role sets technical and execution direction for networking switch platforms, establishes local labs, guides architecture and design reviews, manages vendor and manufacturing relationships, drives products from concept through production, and handles customer escalations. It requires expertise in high-speed PCB and system design, networking protocols, FPGA and embedded systems, manufacturability, signal integrity, and technical team leadership.

Develop and deliver core EOS networking features in C/C++ and Python. Write specs, design documents, and automated tests. Collaborate with product, customers, and support to triage and resolve network issues. Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers from design through deployment.
