Teams at ASX

Architect and evolve mission-critical AWS data and integration platforms using event-driven architectures and Kafka. Lead solution design across large-scale projects, ensuring reliability, scalability, security, and alignment with enterprise architecture. Partner with engineering, infrastructure, delivery, testing, and business stakeholders to produce technical designs, functional specifications, controls, data flows, and non-functional requirements. Support cloud transformation initiatives in complex, highly regulated environments and represent architecture through governance forums.

Develop and maintain secure, automated DevOps and platform engineering capabilities. Responsibilities include AWS infrastructure, Terraform-based Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD pipelines, containerized workloads, observability and OpenTelemetry, automated testing, security controls, and developer enablement. The role creates reusable tools, templates, engineering standards, and documentation while improving delivery speed, reliability, consistency, and productivity in a regulated enterprise environment.

Leads operational support, stability, security, resilience, and continuous improvement for ASX’s SWIFT messaging and payments ecosystem. Responsibilities include managing SAA, SAG, SWIFTNet, HSM, PKI, AWS services, incidents, root-cause investigations, disaster recovery, releases, security controls, and service improvements. The role coordinates technical teams and vendors, mentors support analysts, manages major incidents and operational risks, and participates in 24x7 on-call coverage, weekend activities, resilience testing, and regulated financial-market operations.
