Teams at Australian Payments Plus

Develop government-sector commercial opportunities for AP+ by building senior stakeholder relationships, engaging Treasury departments, shaping strategic pipelines, leading bids and proposals, and supporting feasibility assessments and business cases. The role aligns government priorities with AP+ strategy, payments initiatives, and public-value outcomes while coordinating internal and ecosystem stakeholders.

Lead enterprise compliance frameworks, regulatory change management, risk-based monitoring, assurance reviews, remediation, and executive reporting. Provide authoritative regulatory advice, assess control effectiveness, translate compliance data into actionable insights, and drive digitisation and continuous improvement. Partner with business teams and Group Risk while mentoring compliance practitioners, influencing senior stakeholders, and constructively challenging decisions in a regulated payments environment.

Plans and delivers risk-based control assurance activities, including control design and operating effectiveness testing. Assesses control effectiveness, identifies systemic issues and emerging risks, and translates findings into actionable insights. Partners with control owners to validate deficiencies and drive sustainable remediation. Monitors assurance plans, control effectiveness, and remediation progress while reporting control environment maturity to management and improving assurance practices.
