Own high-value and high-risk family relationships from onboarding through outcomes. Lead difficult retention, renewal, and save conversations; create success plans, monitor student progress, identify risks, and drive early intervention. Support newer team members through coaching and shared best practices, gather feedback, identify additional opportunities, and generate referrals. The role is Melbourne-based across Glen Waverley and CBD campuses with hybrid working.

Handle complex customer escalations across phone, email, and SMS; resolve scheduling and billing issues; track requests through closure; maintain accurate family records; and identify process improvements. The role requires strong communication, composure, organisation, and judgment, plus familiarity with HubSpot and AI tools. Work involves shifts between 9am and 9pm, including some evenings and weekends, across Melbourne campuses with hybrid flexibility.

Teach engaging Year 7–10 English classes in small groups, lead weekly workshops, mentor students, identify misconceptions, provide individual support, and prepare students for assessments. Tutors use Contour-provided materials rather than creating content or handling administrative tasks. The role requires strong English subject knowledge, classroom energy, patience, reliability, and a student-focused approach.

Lead the NSW HSC Physics curriculum by mapping NESA syllabuses, sequencing topics, directing resource production (≈100 workbooks/year), designing student support, and acting as final quality gate to ensure polished, scalable educational materials.

Build and ship full-stack features for the Learning Portal (Next.js UI, Go services, Supabase edge functions). Design scalable systems and infrastructure (IaC with SST/Pulumi, AWS, Vercel), implement testing (Vitest/Jest, Cypress/Playwright), perform PR reviews, maintain docs, run CI/CD, and be on-call to ensure reliable student-facing experiences.

Build end-to-end features across Next.js frontends, API routes, Go services and Supabase edge functions. Work with the Engineering Lead to deliver the technical roadmap, write tests and docs, review PRs, support scaling and IaC (SST/Pulumi) on AWS/Vercel, and be a dependable on-call senior engineer helping the team ship product-focused increments.

Lead high-energy small-group HSC Physics classes (8–20 students), coach and mentor students using curated workbooks, provide motivation and study guidance, and commit to evening/weekend teaching across Contour's NSW campuses for a full academic year.

Lead Contour’s organisation-wide learning framework, own onboarding and career pathways, and run the Contour Leadership Academy. Coach Team Leaders, deliver facilitation and Predictive Index debriefs, use engagement data to target capability gaps, and recruit and develop a junior coaching team as the program scales.

Own and maintain the NSW subject curriculum source-of-truth: map NESA syllabus and exams, set pacing and benchmarks, brief and direct Resource Developers for workbook production, sign off on materials, design student support resources, and ensure high-quality, exam-focused curriculum delivery.
