The Finance Manager oversees Australian financial operations, coordinating month-end close, journals, reconciliations, management reporting, financial controls, statutory reporting, audits, tax compliance, and regulatory activities. Lead ERM’s ESG Data Management practice at Partner or Consulting Director level. Responsibilities include developing growth strategy, advising executive clients, delivering large-scale ESG data and sustainability reporting programs, managing energy and emissions frameworks, overseeing projects, building client relationships, driving business development, and leading multidisciplinary teams across Sydney and Melbourne.

Lead and deliver air quality services including emissions inventories, dispersion and odour modelling, regulatory compliance and permitting, technical reporting, project planning, client relationship development, mentorship, and business development to grow regional air quality practice.

Lead multidisciplinary ESG due diligence and EHS compliance projects: prepare technical reports, audit sites as lead assessor, manage and mentor project teams, build client relationships, and support business development across M&A and sustainability engagements.

Lead and deliver climate change advisory engagements including AASB S2 climate disclosure, climate risk assessment, carbon accounting and lifecycle assessment. Manage project mobilisation, delivery and client relationships for large companies, contribute to business development, and support the global climate practice through collaboration, mentoring and high-quality written and verbal communication.

Manage and validate geological and related datasets for mining, exploration, and environmental projects. Administer project databases, perform QA/QC, integrate public datasets, improve data workflows, resolve inconsistencies, and engage with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver fit-for-purpose data solutions.

Lead emissions quantification, carbon inventory development (scope 1,2,3), decarbonisation strategy, and climate risk workstreams. Manage projects and small teams, mentor staff, build client relationships, drive business development, and ensure high-quality deliverables aligned with regulatory frameworks and disclosure standards.
