Forensicare (Victorian Institute of Forensic Mental Health)

Forensicare, the trading name of the Victorian Institute of Forensic Mental Health, is Victoria’s primary statewide specialist provider of adult forensic mental health services. It supports people involved in the criminal justice system or at high risk of offending through a 116-bed secure hospital, community-based programs and prison-based mental health services. The statutory body is funded by Victoria’s Department of Health and Department of Justice and Community Safety.
