Lead the design, development, deployment, and operation of a Gen3-based research data platform on Google Cloud Platform. Responsibilities include coordinating single-cell omics and clinical-data ETL workflows, developing integrations with analysis tools, managing Kubernetes, Terraform/OpenTofu, and CI/CD infrastructure, gathering stakeholder requirements, contributing code and architecture decisions, improving developer tooling, and mentoring team members.

Leads Executive Office operations, governance infrastructure, executive preparation, stakeholder communications, and support for leadership forums and committees. Manages the Executive Assistant, coordinates calendars and meetings, prepares briefings and Board papers, oversees action follow-up, supports presentations, and provides research and analytical assistance to the Executive Director. The role requires exceptional organisation, communication, discretion, judgement, and ability to manage complex priorities in a scientific research environment.

Leads computational biology and machine learning research on cancer cell dormancy and relapse. Develops deep learning pipelines, foundation models, single-cell trajectory methods, and multi-omic analyses integrating imaging, molecular, and clinical data. Coordinates international collaborations, supervises junior staff and students, manages computational infrastructure and reproducible pipelines, contributes to grants and publications, and provides strategic computational leadership across the AllClear consortium.

Provide technical and operational support for a cancer genomics lab: develop and maintain bioinformatic pipelines for scRNA-seq and spatial transcriptomics, integrate multi-omic datasets, manage and archive data, contribute to codebase improvements, communicate results, assist publications and grants, train junior staff, coordinate projects and ensure compliance and data integrity.

Manage and coordinate Oncofetal Ecosystem Lab projects: develop project plans, track milestones/budgets, support ethics/IRB and reporting, liaise with stakeholders, assist grant writing, and perform hands-on lab work as required.

The Senior Research Officer will lead a causal target validation program in genomics, executing experimental strategies and collaborating to derive insights linking genetic variations to immune functions.
