Provides strategic legal advice across Australian financial services regulation, corporate and commercial matters. Advises on AFSL obligations, ASIC, AUSTRAC, AML/CTF, product development, regulatory risks, governance, and complex commercial agreements. Partners with Risk, Compliance, Product, Operations, Marketing, and senior stakeholders; manages external counsel and independently leads legal matters. Requires 9+ years post-admission experience, financial services expertise, and a current NSW practising certificate.

Advise businesses, investors, and executives on corporate transactions and commercial matters, including M&A, acquisitions, investments, restructures, joint ventures, governance, due diligence, and commercial agreements. Draft and negotiate transaction documentation, identify legal and commercial risks, manage transaction workstreams through completion, and develop direct client relationships while working alongside senior lawyers.
