Owns daily fund accounting operations for institutional clients across Australia, New Zealand, and Asia-Pacific. Responsibilities include managing client relationships, resolving queries, ensuring SLA delivery, maintaining procedures and controls, leading process and system improvements, coordinating with internal teams, and overseeing risk management. The role requires substantial fund accounting or fund operations experience, knowledge of financial markets and instruments, proficiency with custody and asset management systems, advanced Excel skills, and leadership capability.

Conduct equity research on insurance and diversified financial institutions across Australia and APAC. Build financial models, forecasts, valuation frameworks, investment recommendations, and target prices; analyze earnings, regulation, capital management, M&A, and industry trends. Produce company notes, thematic reports, and sector research while engaging institutional investors, company executives, and internal stakeholders. Support generative AI initiatives, maintain research governance and compliance, and mentor junior team members.

Support the Securities Services controls framework across Australia by conducting control reviews, identifying risks and weaknesses, coordinating issue remediation, and maintaining governance documentation. Partner with business, operations, technology, compliance, legal, risk, and audit teams. Prepare dashboards and management reporting, support thematic reviews and root cause analysis, and coordinate audit and regulatory responses through evidence gathering and action closure.
