Lead rigorous credit assessment and decision-making for business lending, coach relationship directors and analysts, monitor economic impacts on Australian businesses, and improve credit policies, processes, and systems. The role partners with frontline teams to structure tailored funding solutions while strengthening credit risk capability and supporting SME growth.

Partners with bankers to assess and manage major client credit portfolios. Responsibilities include analyzing loan applications, reviewing customer risk, conducting borrowing base analyses, preparing collateral reports, supporting renewals and extensions, presenting credit insights, and ensuring compliance, annual reviews, and documentation. The role also contributes to process and system improvements that enhance customer outcomes and decision-making speed.
