Drive corporate and MICE revenue for Avani Cypress Lakes Resort by developing sales strategies, securing new business, managing client accounts, negotiating group bookings, and building relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and industry partners. The role includes client meetings, site inspections, proposals, CRM management, sales forecasting, competitor monitoring, and collaboration with resort operations teams to deliver successful conferences, events, and group experiences.

Lead the Rooms Division for a new luxury hotel, overseeing Front Office, Housekeeping, Guest Relations, Concierge, and Guest Services. Establish pre-opening procedures, recruit and develop teams, implement service standards, manage guest satisfaction, room revenue, occupancy, costs, quality, and operational performance. Collaborate with Food & Beverage and Sales while resolving complex guest concerns and driving exceptional service delivery.

Lead the hotel's engineering and maintenance operations during pre-opening and ongoing operations. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, repairs, technical projects, compliance, inspections, budgeting, contractor management, sustainability initiatives, and engineering team leadership. The role ensures hotel facilities and technical systems remain safe, efficient, compliant, and guest-ready while supporting operational readiness and long-term asset improvement.
