Supports animation production by owning pipeline troubleshooting, tool development, workflow optimization, and artist support across modeling, rigging, and surfacing. Leads core technology evolution, writes and reviews code, resolves production issues, validates releases, and partners with engineering and R&D teams. Provides technical guidance and mentorship while managing development scope, priorities, and deadlines. Requires extensive pipeline TD experience, OpenUSD expertise, Maya and Houdini proficiency, and strong Python development skills.

Coordinates production for a CG animated feature by scheduling artist assignments, tracking assets and workflows, preparing reviews and reports, managing timesheets, communicating cross-department needs, and escalating risks. The role supports production supervisors, managers, leads, and artists while maintaining alignment across global teams and helping train other coordinators.

Supervise character effects for an animated feature, overseeing hair, fur, cloth, garments, and secondary-motion simulations. Lead reviews, provide feedback, establish artistic and technical quality standards, and collaborate across animation, rigging, modeling, lighting, FX, and technical teams. Support CFX tools and workflows, advise production on complexity and progress, and mentor artists while ensuring simulations enhance character performance and storytelling.
