Supports planning, coordination, governance, reporting, scheduling, risk and issue tracking for Defence capability projects. Coordinates meetings and stakeholder engagement, prepares project documentation and briefing materials, monitors milestones and dependencies, and supports project leadership teams. The role contributes to continuous improvement and delivery best practices across GWEO AIR Domain programs while working with Defence, industry and multidisciplinary teams.

Develop and maintain cost models, estimates, forecasts, and financial analyses for Defence capability programs. Support business cases, procurement, investment decisions, affordability assessments, trade-off studies, cost assurance, and estimate validation. Analyze complex project, schedule, and financial data, communicate evidence-based recommendations, and collaborate with Defence, industry, and multidisciplinary teams. The role requires an active NV1 AGSVA security clearance and Australian citizenship.

Nova Systems is seeking professionals across multiple disciplines such as EO Engineers, Cyber Engineers, ILS Consultants, and Project Managers to support the Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordnance programs for the Australian Department of Defence.

Two-year graduate program offering structured training, mentoring, professional development, and placements across consulting, engineering, software, defence, logistics, HR, finance, and commercial functions. Manage small-to-medium Defence projects across the capability lifecycle. Develop project plans, schedules, risk and change registers; monitor scope, budget and schedule; lead resources and subcontractors; handle commercial activities and compliance; engage stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.

Provide integrated logistics consultancy for Defence projects: assess systems and processes, deliver technical solutions, engage stakeholders, prepare technical reports, and support multi-project delivery.

Provide explosive ordnance engineering consultancy to Defence clients: review requirements, assess risks, deliver technical advice and reports, solve complex engineering problems, support multidisciplinary teams, and build long-term client relationships.
