Prepare financial statements and tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, companies, and SMSFs. Complete Australian tax compliance calculations, including Division 7A, FBT, CGT, payroll, and indirect taxes. Develop tax planning strategies, research business structuring and wealth matters, identify risks, and collaborate with colleagues to deliver practical client outcomes.

Translate investment philosophy, research, and market insights into practical solutions for advisers and clients. Advise on portfolio construction, manager selection, asset allocation, and performance; deliver investment training, presentations, research, communications, and sales collateral. Present recommendations to clients, boards, and investment committees, and manage relationships with external research houses. The role requires strong investment knowledge, analytical and modelling skills, client communication abilities, and experience in financial advice or investment-related roles.

Supports statutory financial statements, month-end and year-end close, reconciliations, group reporting, technical accounting, budgeting, forecasting, audit coordination, financial controls, and reporting to management, the Board, regulators, and external stakeholders. The role also contributes to accounting policy updates, new accounting standard implementation, process improvements, and finance system efficiencies within an ASX-listed financial services organization.
