Lead full-stack feature development for Qantas Loyalty, writing high-quality React, TypeScript, Node.js, and Next.js software. Guide architecture and design decisions, identify and resolve code issues, apply automated testing and DevOps practices, and mentor other engineers. The role is permanent and based in Sydney, supporting customer-facing digital products across Qantas Loyalty’s retail businesses.

Owns the technical design and operation of Qantas’s enterprise AI platform. Builds production infrastructure, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, MLOps capabilities, and AWS SageMaker and Bedrock solutions. Establishes secure, observable, governed, cost-transparent platform standards and self-service workflows. Provides technical leadership through design reviews, mentoring, and architecture guidance while partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable AI workloads and GenAI capabilities.

Lead learning and development strategy for Qantas Customer Care and Recoveries. Responsibilities include advising senior leaders, managing training governance and compliance, overseeing budgets and resources, leading learning transformation, ensuring regulatory and operational alignment, managing audits and safety investigations, and developing a high-performing training team. The role requires strong adult learning, facilitation, stakeholder engagement, project management, and change management expertise in an operational environment.
