Collects, prepares, tests, analyzes, records, stores, and delivers coal samples for internal and external customers. Duties include crushing, weighing, drying, milling, sieving, equipment upkeep, quality-system compliance, and adherence to HSE standards. The role requires flexible day, afternoon, and night shift availability, regular manual handling of samples weighing 15 kg or more, teamwork, and meeting tight deadlines.

Manages key environmental-testing client relationships across Newcastle and the Hunter region. Coordinates sample receipt, registration, storage, dispatch, logistics, turnaround updates, quotations, tenders, and service performance. Identifies business-development, upselling, and cross-selling opportunities while collaborating with laboratory and operations teams. Supports client meetings, field activities, site visits, sample collection, marine sampling, and basic laboratory testing. Maintains accurate records and compliance with quality, safety, and service standards.
